Wide Range of Applications
The PLD 212 has two different models available, EVAP Model and TURBO Model.
This is the Turbo model which can build pressure up to 16psi
The EVAP version which is the very same to look at but is lower pressure and this lower pressure model is more suitable for EVAP testing and none Turbo vehicles intake systems testing and testing any other system that runs on low pressure

We recommend workshops purchase both units and use the appropriate one based on the pressure that the system may be working at,
For example if you use the Turbo version on a no turbo petrol engines intake system you may cause damage due to the pressure being higher that the normal operating pressure, and if you use the EVAP model on a turbo diesel vehicles intake system it may not show up leaks that only happen when the system is under boost

THINKCAR PLD 212 is a professional automobile pipeline smoke leak detector, to detect the leakage of pipe systems on cars, motorcycles, light trucks, boats etc. It’s widely used in automotive repairs to detect vehicle air and oil leaks. It can also use together with thinkcar diagnostic tools to quickly diagnose vehicle engine leakage related fault.

Built in compressor
THINKCAR PLD 212 has a built in compressor , one key operation design. Just connect the detector with the DC12V battery, press “START” to build smoke within 30 seconds.

Overheat & Anti-frost Protection
THINKCAR PLD 212 has an intelligent protector, if it exceeds the working limit, such as over 120°C it will automatically turn off the power to secure the safety of both the operator and device.

Dual Flow Meters design
PLD 212 offers two test mode, air mode and smoke mode. Unique Design with 2 meters to observe the flow meter and the pressure gauge for leak status.
