Wigam SPY CHECK A/C Cylinder Tester for Checking Polymerization of HFO R1234yf Refrigerant

This refrigerant, due to possible problems and contamination, can react with polymerisation phenomena once it escapes from the cylinder, creating serious damage to the A/C system and recovery stations.

Description: Preventive analysis equipment for R1234yf HFO refrigerant polymerization proublems. Allows sampling and testing of R1234yf gas refrigerant to prevent serious damage to the A/C system or recovery station in the event of refrigerant polymerization. It can be connected to the cylinder or recovery station.

Instructions for installation and use: Connect the SPY CYLINDER CHECK to the refrigerant cylinder to be analyzed. Before performing the polymerization test, ensure the refrigerant gas is in the liquid phase. Open the ball valve (1) to fill the cylinder with air. Close the ball valve. Open the gas cylinder tap (2) and fill the cylinder. Close the cylinder valve. Open the cylinder ball valve (1) for 5 seconds. In the case of polymerized gas, a white tint will appear.
