ThinkCar 1 Years VAG Group SGW Pass
VAG Group vehicles are equipped with an SGW (Security Gateway, also known as SFD) from around 2020 onwards. This SGW unit prevents the diagnostic tool from accessing most diagnostic functions unless it is 1st unlocked.
This pass covers the following brands – VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda, Cupra, Lamborghini and Bentley.
SFD1 is present on VAG group from 2020 to 2024
SFD2 which is present on VAG group from 2024 onwards is also included but is not yet active until VAG release there solution to aftermarket diagnostic tools
This pass is compatible with Think Car diagnostic tools which can be found here.
Note we can only supply support setting this up if purchased through us, If purchased direct on the tool you will need to contact Thinkcar for any support setting it up if needed.
